Millions of tennis fans are sitting at the edge of their seats, waiting for the update on the schedules.

With the pandemic canceling most of the tennis matches in 2020 and 2021, hopeful tennis enthusiasts expect the best in 2022.

Here’s everything to know about this year’s schedule!

Update on Tennis Schedule 2022

According to recent reports, the first tournament for the year is the ATP Delray Beach Open.

The 2022 ATP Season will launch with the ATP Cup in partnership with Tennis Australia. WTA will celebrate its 49th year in 2022, set to kick off with Adelaide International and other tournaments in Melbourne.

As for the Indian Open, there is no official statement of whether the tournament is canceled or postponed.

The 2022 calendar for tennis tournaments is published in a piecemeal fashion due to the ongoing COVID-19 issues.

Wrapping Up - 2022 Tennis Schedules

Many tours and tournaments under WTA and ATP were canceled in the past year, leaving USTA programming and its partners suspended for most of 2020 and 2021.

Unfortunately, there are only little improvements in 2022. You may have to watch the courts of the semifinals to finals games from home with a friend.

It’s nearly impossible for avid fans to travel from one city to another to watch the tournaments and cheer for their favorite player, the Grand Slam event, and more.

Watching the live stream on your go-to tennis site of WTA and ATP tournaments from home is your best course of action. You can live stream qualifying rounds and more.
